Pampilhosa da Serra is one of eight municipalities in the Coimbra Metropolitan Region that have established this commitment with Ukrainian municipalities. The European project Bridges of Trust aims to promote institutional cooperation and the sharing of knowledge and best practices between the two nations.
The Vice-President of the Municipal Chamber of Pampilhosa da Serra, Alexandra Tomé, participated in the signing of this commitment, held in Coimbra on October 22nd. The agreement lays the groundwork for future joint initiatives in areas such as education, culture, civil protection, youth, and sustainable territorial development.
Following this partnership, the Municipality of Pampilhosa da Serra is hosting representatives from the Ukrainian Municipality of Kosmach today, October 23rd. This visit aims to strengthen relations and foster the exchange of experiences between the two authorities.
The Bridges of Trust project provides an opportunity to build bridges of cooperation, solidarity, and development between communities, bringing municipalities closer and fostering lasting relationships of trust.
