The Góis Municipal Assembly approved a set of fiscal measures for 2027, including the continuation of the Derrama exemption and fiscal relief for families and businesses in the municipality.

The Góis Municipal Assembly resolved, in an ordinary session on September 28th, to continue policies of stability and economic incentive for 2027. Decisions include the non-application of the tax on companies (Derrama), the definition of IMI rates, and the maintenance of deductions for Family IMI and the Municipality's variable share in IRS.
In support of the business sector and to attract investment, the deliberative body unanimously approved the non-imposition of the Derrama for 2027. This measure aims to enhance territorial competitiveness, reduce burdens for local SMEs, and create favorable conditions for new business establishment and job creation.
Regarding the Municipal Property Tax (IMI), a rate of 0.80% for rustic properties and 0.33% for urban properties was approved. The commitment to families is renewed through the Family IMI, with fixed deductions on the tax rate for primary residences, based on the number of dependents as of December 31st: €30.00 for 1 dependent, €70.00 for 2 dependents, and €140.00 for 3 or more.
The variable share in the Personal Income Tax (IRS) was set at 2.5% for 2027. By charging only half of the maximum allowed by law (5%), the municipality provides a direct 2.5% IRS relief for Góis families, balancing the municipal budget while supporting residents.
These decisions reflect a fiscal policy focused on supporting families, valuing businesses, and enhancing the municipality's attractiveness, balancing tax reduction with financial sustainability.
