The measure, implemented to prevent rural fires during the highest risk period, aims to protect people, property, forests, and the territory. The ban includes the elimination of plant debris by fire.
As an alternative, plant debris should be shredded, its volume reduced, and sent to the Intermunicipal Network. Biomass Parks and Forest Containers are available in the territory for this purpose.
Agricultural pruning waste and land clearing debris can be deposited. However, it is not permitted to deposit waste with rubble or metals, domestic garbage, rubble, or organic waste.
