The initiative, organized by the Disciplinary Area of Languages and Secretariat, took place in the Fausto Rocha Room and brought together students and members of the academic community for a multilingual poetry reading, fostering sharing and valuing the institution's linguistic and cultural diversity.
Under the motto “Languages unite us. Poetry gives us voice.”, the session was part of the European Day of Languages celebrations, marked annually on September 26th, with the 2026 theme “Languages unite us!”, highlighting the contribution of multilingualism to social inclusion and cohesion among communities.
The reading of poems in different languages aimed to raise awareness about the importance of linguistic diversity and promote intercultural dialogue and recognition of the different origins and identities within the academic community.
This initiative reflects the commitment of Coimbra Business School | ISCAC to promoting multilingualism, interculturality, and an inclusive academic environment.
