With great pride, the Junta de Freguesia de Folques announced its victory in the Inter-Freguesias Futsal Tournament, held at the Pavilhão Gimnodesportivo de São Martinho da Cortiça. The initiative, part of the European Week of Sport, culminated in a total triumph for the Folques team.
A special highlight was awarded to Bruno Carreira, the team's goalkeeper, who was recognized as the Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament. His grit and talent in defending Folques' colors were widely acknowledged.
The final was played against the União de Freguesias de Vila Cova e Anseriz, in a match praised for its sportsmanship and fair play, serving as an example for the community.
The event's organization in São Martinho da Cortiça also received thanks for the excellent conditions provided. The Municipality of Arganil was recognized for promoting an event that unites the community through sport.
The achievement was also credited to the work, dedication, and leadership of Fernando Luzio and Sérgio Travassos in recent months, as well as the unconditional support of the entire team and fans.
