The Quartel da Imagem in Figueira da Foz hosted a session of the «Inclusive Stories» cycle, focusing on promoting participation and accessibility in municipal cultural programming.

The initiative, held on October 31st, was attended by nine children and their families, exploring the stories “Monstro” and “O Passeio” through sensory and interactive approaches. The aim was to create a welcoming environment where diversity of expression and communication was valued.
On the same morning, educational teams from the Municipal Library and Municipal Museum participated in training provided by Pedrinhas, focused on equipping professionals with strategies to make cultural activities more accessible and inclusive.
The Department of Culture will continue to receive training until the end of the year, aiming to diversify cultural and educational offerings. The project «Pedrinhar na Figueira da Foz», developed by Pedrinhas with funding from IDiPD and in partnership with the Municipality of Figueira da Foz, will continue with two more sessions open to the community.
The next sessions are scheduled for November 21st at the Museu Municipal Santos Rocha, and December 12th at the Biblioteca Municipal Pedro Fernandes Tomás.
The Municipality thanked Pedrinhas for their collaboration and the participating families, reinforcing its commitment to the accessibility and inclusion of its facilities and cultural programming.
