The environmental awareness component also remained active in August, with one environmental education action taking place, attended by 22 participants.
Since 2025, the environmental barometer includes a more detailed monthly report on urban cleaning operations. In parallel, an annual zone-based cleaning plan is being executed, organized on a rotating basis, covering approximately 50 linear kilometers.
The municipality also provides an online geographic viewer, “Limpeza de Vias e Espaços Públicos” (Cleaning of Streets and Public Spaces), which allows citizens to consult information on entities responsible for public space maintenance. This tool, developed internally since November 2022, is part of the strategy to disseminate municipal information.
