The locality of Meimoa, in Penamacor, became the beach tennis capital during the weekend of November 7th and 8th, hosting the 2nd Penamacor Beach Tennis Open. The competition, part of the Portuguese Tennis Federation's National Calendar, attracted athletes from various regions of the country.
The event offered the public the opportunity to watch some of the country's top players in action, in an atmosphere that combined competitiveness with camaraderie and relaxation. The initiative was supported by the Portuguese Tennis Federation, the Municipality of Penamacor, and the Castelo Branco Tennis Association, and was organized by Aduane – Sports Solutions.

The Vice-President of the Municipal Chamber of Penamacor, Pedro Silveiro, attended the event and thanked the organizers for their commitment. He also extended an invitation for participants and visitors to return to the municipality and continue discovering its potential.
