The objective of the initiative, promoted in partnership with Sociedade Ponto Verde and with the support of Rede Recicla+, is to encourage glass separation. By the end of the year, the growth in glass collection in each municipality will be evaluated.
The municipality that registers the largest increase in glass separation will be the winner. As a social reward, it can designate a local Private Institution of Social Solidarity (IPSS) to receive a social merit award.
To participate, citizens must separate all glass, including bottles, jars, and pots, using the green recycling bins, ecocenters, or door-to-door selective collection services. The initiative emphasizes that each item deposited in the green bin makes a difference and contributes to the municipality's victory in a solidarity and environmental cause.
