The future of Tourism in Vieira do Minho relies on innovation and the ability to keep pace with digital transformation. In this regard, the Municipality is marking World Tourism Day, celebrated on September 27th, with training focused on Artificial Intelligence and new digital tools applied to the sector.
In collaboration with Turismo de Portugal, the training “Digital Agenda and Artificial Intelligence to redesign Tourism” is being held. This initiative aligns with the theme set by UN Tourism for 2026, placing technological innovation at the center of the reflection on the future of the tourism activity.
As part of the Formação +Próxima program, the session aims to provide Tourism professionals in Vieira do Minho with an opportunity to learn about the main trends in digital transformation. The goal is to understand how Artificial Intelligence can be used as a tool for innovation and development in tourism businesses.
The initiative seeks to bring sector professionals closer to the new technological possibilities, preparing them for the challenges and opportunities shaping the evolution of Tourism.
The training is free and will take place online, via Webex, on September 28th, between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM. The Municipality of Vieira do Minho invites sector professionals to participate and discover new tools and opportunities for the future of Tourism.
