The ceremony was attended by the Secretary of State, who during her visit to the municipality, also visited the Occupational Activities Center (CAO) of the Social Center of the Parish of Souto. On the occasion, the parish priest of Souto, Pe. Almerindo Martins da Costa, presented the project for the Residential Home of the Social Center of the Parish of Souto.
This project aims to strengthen the institution's social responses and support for people with disabilities and their families. The initiative is part of the Commemorative Week of the Municipality, which celebrates the 512th anniversary of the granting of the Charter of Foral.
