This year's edition promises to attract thousands of visitors with a renewed light show at Praça 25 de Abril and Praça da Justiça, featuring daily presentations at various times. The Christmas Market, a central hub of activity, will offer gastronomy, crafts, and local products with extended hours. Santa's House and the Traveling Train return as popular family attractions.
The musical program includes dozens of artists, choirs, and local and national groups, with highlights such as the Coro da Academia de Música José Atalaya, the Orquestra de Música de Fafe, the Orfeão Universitário do Porto, and the Orquestra do Norte. FAFE NATAL 2025 also integrates theater, children's activities, street entertainment, the Christmas Parade, and the arrival of Santa Claus on December 7th.
The “Hora Mágica de Natal” (Magical Christmas Hour) initiative will promote reading with themed sessions in December. The community dimension will be strengthened with traditional Santa Claus parades and the Cantares de Reis (Songs of the Kings) in January. The program also includes solidarity initiatives, such as the intergenerational action “Hoje por Ti, Amanhã por Mim” (Today for You, Tomorrow for Me) and the Solidarity Hamper, along with a campaign to support local businesses.
The Christmas Market will operate with specific hours, including weekdays, weekends, holidays, and Christmas Eve. Santa's House will be open from December 7th to 21st, and the Traveling Train will run between November 29th and December 23rd on selected dates.
