The Municipal Executive of Fafe approved the allocation of €100 and €50 vouchers for the purchase of school supplies, representing an investment of €106,000 to support families and local businesses.

At the City Council meeting on August 6, the allocation of vouchers worth €100 (for students in tier A) and €50 (for beneficiaries of tier B) for the purchase of school supplies in local businesses was approved. This measure represents an investment of approximately €106,000 for the Municipality of Fafe.
The voucher distribution mechanism will use the school management platform (SIGA). Eligible students must be residents of the municipality of Fafe and attend a public educational institution within the municipality, from primary to secondary education. Applications for vouchers are now open on the SIGA platform and will run until September 30.
Eligible expenses for reimbursement must correspond to purchases made in local businesses within the municipality, excluding supermarkets and hypermarkets. School supplies, physical education and sports equipment, musical instruments, support books, and other items like backpacks and pencil cases can be purchased. It is necessary to upload the invoice with the student's NIF and the IBAN of the legal guardian to the SIGA platform.
This initiative aims to improve the quality of life for families, promoting equal access to education and academic success.
