The investment totals approximately 2.96 million euros (plus VAT) and is intended to address the growing need for housing in the municipality. The new homes, of T3 typology and spread over two floors, will be built in an area between Rua do Eido and Rua do Passadiço, in a predominantly residential zone.
The project features a contemporary architectural solution, designed to integrate with the existing urban environment while ensuring quality, comfort, and energy efficiency. This initiative aligns with the new Local Housing Strategy and the Municipal Housing Charter, recently approved by the Municipal Assembly.
The Esposende municipality considers housing a political priority, seeking to increase the available supply and create conditions for more families to settle in the municipality. This operation marks the transition from policy definition to the implementation of new housing solutions, providing new construction housing stock.
“"The construction of these ten homes represents a very significant investment in housing and, above all, in people. We are creating new, quality housing with conditions for families to live and build their life project in Esposende. This is the path we want to continue: transforming housing policy into concrete actions on the ground."
With this approval, the execution project, which includes the subdivision operation and the technical and budgetary elements, reinforces the municipal commitment to developing effective public policies for access to adequate and affordable housing.
