With the start of the new academic year, the project offers proposals in the areas of science, environment, culture, and prevention. The activities, aimed at all educational levels, from preschool to secondary and vocational education, aim to complement curricular content and strengthen students' connection to the territory.
Developed in partnership with various entities, the OdeTE Route integrates the Mira a Terra, Odemira Previne, and SEMEAR programs. These initiatives provide different learning experiences, contributing to greater equality of opportunity among the county's students and bringing school content closer to local reality.
For the 2026/2027 academic year, the Mira a Terra program includes 46 environmental activities, focused on raising awareness of current environmental issues and promoting conscious citizenship. Each class is entitled to two free activities.
The SEMEAR program stimulates curiosity, reflection, and critical thinking through cultural experiences, promoting literacy and the appreciation of local heritage.
Odemira Previne is dedicated to risk prevention and the acquisition of appropriate behaviors in emergency situations, with the collaboration of entities such as the Municipal Civil Protection Service, GNR, Maritime Police, and local Firefighter and Lifeguard Associations. It also integrates TAIPA, the Local School Health Team, and the CPCJ.
Promoted since 2020, the OdeTE Route aims to strengthen the link between schools and the community, supporting students' academic success and personal development through experiences complementary to classroom learning.
