Approximately 1300 preschool children from Santa Maria da Feira are creating 350 bracelets for the upcoming Education Conference, scheduled for November 13-14.

The initiative, involving 54 educational establishments, aims to include these bracelets in the welcome kits for the Education Conference, to be held at the Municipal Library. These bracelets, made by those taking their first steps in education, carry a special meaning of participation and cooperation.
Under the motto “From the school we have to the school we want,” the Education Conference will bring together experts and professionals to discuss challenges such as inclusion, school mental health, and networking. The program includes panels, the presentation of the municipal project “Educate to Transform,” and practical workshops on school mental health prevention and emotional self-regulation.
The second day will feature the panel “No One Educates Alone,” emphasizing the shared responsibility among schools, families, and the community in building inclusive educational environments. The 350 bracelets symbolize the commitment of a community that believes in an education built by and for everyone.
