The recognition, which placed the SER+ em Anadia! project among the nationally distinguished initiatives, holds particular significance in an edition that featured over 150 applications from across the country.
SER+ em Anadia! is a community-based municipal initiative aimed at children, young people, and their families, with the primary objectives of promoting educational success, inclusion, and equal opportunities. The project adopts an integrated approach, coordinating educational, psychological, social, and family dimensions, fostering personal skills development, autonomy, motivation, and family involvement in the educational journey.
Developed in close collaboration with schools and community partners, the intervention aims to tailor responses to individual needs, preventing school failure and exclusion. Currently integrated into the PIPSE Educ@RA 2030 program, the project has enhanced its intervention and support capacity, maintaining its core principles of proximity, inclusion, and valuing the potential of each child and young person.
The project operates from two centers, in Anadia and Vilarinho do Bairro, involving dozens of children, young people, and their families. This distinction acknowledges the continuous work carried out by the Municipality, technicians, schools, families, and partner entities, reinforcing a commitment to an education policy centered on people.
