In the ordinary session held at the Paços do Concelho, several relevant matters for the municipality were discussed and decided. Among the resolutions, notable are the unanimous supports for the School Cross-Country Race of the Escola Básica e Secundária da Graciosa and for the 2nd Edition of the Island Cycling Tour “Na Rota dos Moinhos”, organized by Agraprome.
The Coro da Matriz de Santa Cruz da Graciosa (Matriz Choir of Santa Cruz da Graciosa) and the 22nd Graciosense Dinner also received unanimous approval. The establishment of co-ownership between Agnelo da Silva Gil and Maria Mendonça da Veiga was approved by majority, with the abstention of the Socialist Party councilors.
Furthermore, the definitive and free transfer of Civil Protection materials to the Parish Councils of the municipality was unanimously approved. The Council also established Cooperation Protocols with the Lab Azores Association, the Azores Sea Alliance (an Environmental Non-Governmental Organization), and the Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Santa Cruz da Graciosa and Vila da Praia da Graciosa.
Support for local associations, within the framework of the Regulation on Criteria for Granting Subsidies, was also unanimously approved. The decisions reflect the Executive's commitment to ensuring transparency, strengthening the connection with the population, and promoting balanced financial administration.
