The Santa Cruz da Graciosa Municipal Council held its ordinary session on October 8, 2026, at the Paços do Concelho. Several matters of municipal interest were discussed and unanimously approved.
Among the resolutions were the Support for Births and Support for Local Associations, under the criteria regulation for subsidy allocation. Approval was also given for opening a tender procedure in the area of Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or Environmental Management.
The meeting also approved the draft protocol for Preventive Termite Pest Control in high-risk buildings, as well as the exemption of municipal fees for the Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Santa Cruz da Graciosa. The request for support for the event DivingTalks2026, Fam Trip Graciosa was also approved.
The municipal executive reaffirmed its commitment to transparent action, strengthening ties with the population, ensuring the regular functioning of services, promoting balanced financial administration, and valuing the public space within the municipality.
