The Açores 2030 Programme has launched the “Hiring Support” notice, with a budget of €55 million, co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), aimed at supporting job creation and sustainability in the Autonomous Region of the Azores.

The notice, which falls under the Programme's Priority “Qualification and Employment”, aims to strengthen the professional integration of the unemployed and promote more stable employment relationships. This measure supports the conclusion of permanent, full-time employment contracts with individuals registered as unemployed with the Public Employment Services of the Region.
The measures HIRE PERMANENTLY and HIRE are applicable to all sectors of activity. Key objectives of the intervention include preventing and combating unemployment, net job creation, promoting the employability of groups facing greater difficulties in entering the labour market, and improving job quality.
